Free Videos, Classes, and Seminars For Students

From our self-paced video lessons to our virtual real time classes, our mission is to spread self-defense, fitness, and confidence, starting at a root idea: guiding students on the correct path to begin their martial arts journey. Our multifaceted organization accommodates all children and teenagers. The few criteria we do ask our prospective students to meet are that they be in any grade from elementary school to college and are able to understand and follow basic English directions. Also, as interested students progress in martial arts, we hope for them to connect with advanced martial arts schools to continue their martial art and fitness education with more in-depth knowledge.

Real-Time Instructor-Led Virtual Classes

From the time of the global pandemic of COVID-19, Fit4Grit Academy has diverged from the normal approach to martial arts by creating a platform to teach martial arts and fitness virtually globally to youth for free! With our virtual classes, students choose between martial art and fitness classes while staying in contact with instructors out of class. The classes will also have a foundation of fitness, self-defense, and confidence-building, all essential for a well-rounded martial artist and community member. For self-defense, students will be taught how to assess, respond, and avoid dangerous situations. In terms of confidence-building, Fit4Grit Academy adds elements of respect, discipline, and self-control to teach the student how to be well rounded martial artists and society members.

Hi everyone! My name is Instructor Aditi and I am super excited to be working with you in this class. This class will cover the basics of taekwondo and fitness and we will continue to advance our techniques together!

Adarsh’s Dawn Breaker Taekwondo Classes – Dawn Breaker Students ONLY

This is a great way to begin your Taekwondo learning with foundations of self-defense and confidence-building in this 30 class, 3 level course. We will go deep into techniques, character-building, and other very important topics for martial arts. Also, the pace will be set for students who are just beginning their martial art journey. We will in particular work on endurance, strength, and flexibility. Adarsh has been teaching for several years and will work with your students to give them the best possible help during class!

Shalini’s Wushu Class

This class is an excellent way to build your introductory and basic skills of Wushu, which is a form of Chinese martial arts that does not involve hand-to-hand combat. The techniques of Wushu focus on one’s mobility, agility, strength, focus, and balance. In this class, students will learn how to utilize these techniques in the context of Wushu while mastering the art of confidence through character-building exercises. Not only will various Wushu moves be taught in this class, but also handy self-defense strategies will be built upon gradually throughout the course of these classes. Most importantly, this class will provide an open and welcoming atmosphere for students from all backgrounds, levels, and ages to interact and learn from each other.

Adarsh’s U.S. Taekwondo Class – CLOSED!

Thank you everyone for joining this class over the past 50 CLASSES! It has been amazing to teach everyone! Please now sign up for Instructor Aditi’s Class on Sundays! This is a great way to begin your Taekwondo learning with foundations of self-defense and confidence building. Self-Paced Video Lessons

Our self-paced free videos are a collection meant for students to watch on their own whenever they have time and internet connection. These videos will be separated by the instructor and martial art type. We recommend joining our free real-time virtual instructor-led classes, but if that is not an option for the student or if the class they are interested in is not being offered there, then the instructional videos are the next best thing. The videos will be made as guides specifically on martial art and confidence building, making the real-time classes so unique. Take this into account when choosing which paths work best for you. Joining the real-time classes does not stop you from watching the video lessons, and we actually encourage you to join both in order to learn more new martial arts! Below are more details on the different paths you can take for the self-paced video lessons.

Seminars

As a part of Fit4Grit Academy, students are given the opportunity to learn from masters, professionals, and elite athletes in each martial art through our virtual real-time seminars. The seminars are free of cost and are useful for students to take a deep dive into a certain part or parts of their martial art, depending on the seminar. The seminars last from 1 to 4 hours and only occur once, so don’t miss out! Find out more specific details for each seminar below.
